Private
Spa Pass
Unwind in your private out door hot tub after a luxury shower enhanced with herbal shampoos, conditioners
and shower gels. Soak in the seasons with uninterrupted tranquility in the
forest and experience the invigorating cold plunge, cedar sauna and outdoor
relaxation areas. No need to pack, as Shoji provides you with a Japanese cotton
robe, towels, and sandals as well as body lotion, hair dryers and other perks. Please plan to arrive at your scheduled time.

will fully relax in a romantic private hot tub in the woods. Then be treated

oil full body massage with smooth heated river stones to melt away any of
the days stresses. This treatment comes with a take home spa gift. Plan

Atama and
Ashi (Japanese for head and toe)
Shoji's signature session begins with a warm Hinoki oil scalp
massage, cranial sacral holds and facial shiatsu to loosen stiff neck
muscles & shoulder tension and facial shiatsu to clear the sinus
pathways; warm towels are then placed around the head and eyes.
This unique treatment ends in grounded bliss with ankle and toe
stretches, Japanese Yuzu scented foot reflexology and warm towels

Thai Massage
Thai massage releases blockages and stiff muscles through
compressions, acupressure on specific points and a variety
stretches. Internal organs are stimulated, the nervous system is
soothed and a free flow of energy is restored. Thai massage is
performed on a soft mat over clothing and might be described as "supported
yoga." No oil or lotion is used

Shoji Shiatsu
A bodywork therapy originating in Asia, Shiatsu incorporates the
theory of acupuncture which proposes that energy, known as
"Chi", moves through the body along passageways called
meridians. For stress-reduction and reducing fatigue, the Shoji
Shiatsu session is done in traditional style fully clothed on a soft

Spa Extras
Gift Shop
Shoji Day Spa gift shop offers a variety of nurturing spa products
for the refined spa goer. Including: antique Kimonos, Shoji
tee shirts, cotton robes (Yukatas), Hinoki and Yuzu lotions, oils &
soaps, hair care and unique Japanese gifts. Gift certificates are
available for one to one hundred visits. We will forward your gift
certificates directly to you or to the recipient.

Facility Rental
Shoji's unique and elegant mountain retreat is the perfect place for any family
celebration, bridal shower, corporate events, workshops, social functions
or holiday gatherings. The 1,200 square foot open room features cathedral
ceilings, gas fire place, plush carpeting and an old
country Japanese style. Call us to customize your special event!

Spa Policies
Please respect all guests’ right to privacy.
No computers, cameras,
cell phones or pagers in the spa. A 20% gratuity is
standard for massage therapists. You may add this to
your bill upon departure. Prices subject to change
without notice. An automatic gratuity will be added
to parties of 6 or more.
Arrival Time
Plan to arrive fifteen minutes early if reserving one of our spa packages or a Private Spa Pass. After checking in at the front desk, take a luxurious shower then wrap yourself in a cozy cotton robe "Yukata" before winding down in our dry sauna and rejuvenating in our cold plunge. Then make your way to your private tub where you can fully relax before your massage treatment.
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early if booking massage only in order to check in with the front desk. If you have only reserved a massage treatment and you would like to enjoy the spa amenities, please let the receptionist know upon reserving your appointment and plan to arrive twenty minutes early to shower and change into your Yukata and sandals. This is an extra $20 fee.
Cancellation Policy
A MasterCard or Visa is required to hold your reservation.
Please provide 48 hours notice. Cancellations that are not received
48 hours in advance are charged the full amount to your
credit card. Due to high volume of reservations we adhere
to our cancellation policy.
Reschedule Policy
If you need to reschedule at least 48 hours before your
reservation time, No Problem! If you reschedule with
less than 48 hours notice, your credit card will be
charged that full amount of the missed reservation.
Be aware that Shoji Retreats must charge $10 each time
an appointment is moved and the full amount of the
appointment will be charged the day of rescheduling.
