The Owner's Loft

The Owner's Loft is now available for your vacation rental. Set on the property of Shoji Spa and over The Lodge, The Owner's Loft boasts cathedral ceilings, a king sized bed, reader's loft, and 50 mile panoramic views to the Great Smoky Mountains. Posed over Pisgah National Forest and minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, serenity and scenery are paramount. This intimate space is perfect for a romantic getaway, personal retreat, or group getaway. Just yards from 26 world-class massage therapists and the Southeast's only outdoor hot tub retreat, Shoji's upscale lodging will provide you with the peaceful sleep you need and the rejuvenation you deserve.

Reservation Policy:

Shoji's has only two unique, upscale accommodations. Therefore, we charge for the full amount of your stay at the time of booking. There is a $100 cancellation charge after the time of booking. If canceling within two weeks of your reservation, Shoji will provide a 50% refund. We are unable to reimburse cancellations within 48 hours of the reservation.

To preserve the serene surroundings that Shoji offers, we can only accommodate children ten and older.

Private Tubs
A one hour private spa pass is $42 and a two hour private spa pass is $72 per person. Each tub holds six to eight people comfortably. All guests are provided with a Kimono (worn in public areas, but bathing suit is optional in private tub areas), sandals, towels, lockers, showers and use of the cold plunge and sauna.

Facility Rental
Shoji's unique and elegant mountain retreat and lodge offer many amenities to enhance any corporate event, healing workshop, social function or holiday gathering. The 1,000 square foot open room features cathedral ceilings, gas fire place, plush carpeting and an old country Japanese style. Rescheduling / Cancellation Policy
We understand that things can come up and you may need to reschedule or cancel your appointment at Shoji.

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your reservation time, no problem!

If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, your credit card will be charged the full amount of the missed reservation. Be aware that Shoji Retreats must charge $10 "service fee" each time an appointment is moved and the full amount of the appointment will be charged the day of rescheduling.

Shoji Retreat accepts Master Card, Visa, cash and prepaid gift certificates. No personal checks please.

Massage Therapy
A cadre of Licensed Massage Therapists are available to provide the following types of treatments: Swedish, Shiatsu, Thai, Reiki, Sports Massage/Deep Tissue, Hot Stone Therapy, Neuro muscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofacial Release, Lomi Lomi and Herbal Body Wrap. Call us for details.

Couples Packages
Take time with your partner to stop and share some quality down time. At Shoji we will pamper you and your loved one side by side with one of our couple's packages. You may both choose from any of our massages to indulge in the massage that is right for you.

Spa Amenities
Shoji provides women's and men's locker rooms, luxury herbal shampoos, conditioners, shower gels and lotions, towels, sandals and outdoor relaxation areas. When purchasing massage only (no private spa pass), you may enjoy all spa amenities for a $20 fee.When purchasing a private spa pass, all amenities as well as the Japanese cedar sauna, warm blankets and cold plunge are included.

Take Home The Experience
You will sample many unique products while here at Shoji. Take home the experience from our boutique and share the wonderful scents and gifts with your friends and family. Shoji's boutique offers a variety of nurturing spa products for the refined spa goer. Also available are: antique imported Kimonos, Shoji tee shirts, Yukatas (cotton robes), Japanese Hinoki and Yuzu lotions, massage oils & shower gels, salt scrubs, bathe salts, shampoo and conditioner.
