Colorful leaves (koyo) are to the Japanese autumn what cherry blossoms are to spring. Here in Western North Carolina we are privileged to be able to experience the same vibrant fall colors spread across the Blue Ridge Mountain Range.
Each season offers its own special wisdom & gifts. As autumn “falls” upon us it is a perfect opportunity to reflect on the impermanence of life, balance & letting go. For this reason we were inspired to create a wellness package that mirrored these elements & stimulates the senses with essences reminiscent of fall.
Chai to resist…!
We thought of warm, spicy ingredients + the most beneficial essential oils to invoke a cozy feeling of wellness and warmth. This season’s package features Chai Lavender & Whiskey-inspired treatments to smooth & re-energize the body, mind and soul.
This package begins with an indulgent one hour soak in your very own private outdoor hot tub set on the edge of the forest.
After your soak you’ll be lead to our massage floor to indulge in an 80 minute body treatment starting with a fully body exfoliation infused with the autumn blend of your choice. This exfoliation gently removes dead skin cells, the body is left smooth & radiant. A luxurious body butter will then be applied and massaged into the skin with warmed river stones.

Black Pepper & Frankincense
Anti-rheumatic & Anti-arthritic: These are two of the best qualities of black pepper oil. It is warming, stimulating and improves circulation, thereby giving immediate relief for rheumatism and arthritis, particularly during the cooler seasons when the symptoms are aggravated the most. It is also effective in removing toxins and delays adverse effects of aging such wrinkling of the skin and memory loss.
Frankincense Oil promotes regeneration of healthy cells and also keeps the existing cells and tissues healthy. When you combine this aspect of frankincense oil with its powerful astringent capabilities, you have a potent anti-aging quality that frankincense oil is often used for.
